Workflow

Our Production Process.

A clear, professional workflow guiding your title from initial evaluation to final distribution.

Evaluation Comes Before Production

Every title is reviewed individually before production approval. Not every submission proceeds to production.

This selective evaluation ensures that we dedicate our resources to titles that meet our quality standards and represent a strong fit for our professional production operation.

1

RIGHTS & PROJECT REVIEW

Production begins with project review and confirmation of appropriate audiobook rights. The relevant rights holder/authorized representative may be an author, literary agent, publisher, or rights representative. Manuscript submission does NOT automatically transfer copyright, audiobook rights, ownership, or licensing rights to TBT Audio.

2

MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION

Not every submission proceeds to production. Every title is evaluated individually for: Audiobook suitability, Manuscript quality, Genre, Rights availability, Production requirements, Audience considerations, Commercial/project fit, and Overall suitability. We carefully evaluate each title to determine whether it is the right fit for our production operation. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or production.

3

PRODUCTION PLANNING

Approved projects are planned around production scope, narrator requirements, recording, scheduling, editorial, technical and distribution needs.

4

CASTING & NARRATOR SELECTION

Narration talent may be selected according to genre, tone, character requirements, narration style, audience and production needs.

5

VOICE DIRECTION

Approved projects may include professional voice direction supporting performance, consistency, clear delivery, and pacing.

6

RECORDING

Professional audio capture for approved projects, ensuring a high-quality capture environment.

7

EDITING

Recorded material moves through editing/post-production, including as applicable cleaning recordings, removing unwanted material, managing pauses, maintaining consistency and preparing audio for mastering.

8

PROOFREADING

Manuscript-to-audio verification can identify missing/incorrect words, misread passages, repeated material, pronunciation issues and other manuscript/narration discrepancies. The goal is accuracy and consistency.

9

MASTERING

Mastering prepares finished audio for final technical delivery.

10

QUALITY CONTROL

Quality control occurs before final delivery, covering, as applicable: Audio quality, Narration issues, Editorial accuracy, Consistency, Technical problems, and Delivery requirements.

11

METADATA & DELIVERY

Final preparation may include audiobook metadata, title/author/narrator information, audio files and required delivery materials.

12

DISTRIBUTION

Distribution depends on the agreed distribution arrangement, applicable rights, territories, and available platforms.
